Barricades
The idea that limits are only a state of mind self-imposed by the individual is the pivotal reflection for reading this installation, which invites us to overcome them while representing the limit itself.
The concept of limit, impeding structure that we find inside or outside of us, embodied by the form of the anti-tank barricade or (Friesian horse, used in war to prevent, block or delimit passages) seems to be a solution of continuity in the artist’s path characterized from the long work on toy soldiers.
Ceribelli starts from this concept of block to use it in reverse, overturning the hardness of the basic geometric shape formed by perpendicular encounters of lines that crossing form a demarcation, through the use of bright and bright colors that attract adults and children to experience and climb on installation, thus makes it almost invisible, making us overcome the idea of an insurmountable limit represented by it.
